At Octava one of our goals is to “experience.” Whether it be at home enjoying a clay facial cleanse or out with friends having lunch, our belief is experience is a fundamental key of life. What is life without experience? As one Master drummer told us … “life is song … enjoy the music! And Resonate!!” More on that later.
At Octava we love to share experiences in person and through story. As you may have read on our website in the “About Us” section, our road to new experiences began with the introduction of “epilepsy” into our lives. After following strict western traditions for years without substantive resolution, we decided to pursue an alternative medicinal path. Although we always had a foot on the Western path (e.g. regular checkups/monitoring) we began to walk this new “alternative” path …. Everything seemed different … not just the road but the trees, the energy, the mindset, the environment. However, relatively soon after we began to walk this alternative path, a phone call quickly brought us back to the traditional western path. We now were being introduced to a new entity … Brain Surgery. After seemingly having so much success with the alternative medicine, we of course wanted to stay on this path, but the all the alternative practitioners agreed that in our case western medicine was the most logical option. In short, for us, brain surgery was not to be accomplished with Herbs. Although, we had success with Eastern traditions, in order to continue toward harmony, we now needed to fully revisit the Western traditions. It was at this juncture, we realized that “for us” the combination of Eastern and Western practice(s) was the most harmonious holistic path moving forward. Fortunately, this new juxtaposed path brought us to Octava.
This is our story. At Octava we are very fortunate to be a recipient of other’s stories. Some of the stories are absolutely fascinating and some a bit strange (if one can say that) … but most are quite interesting. Now, armed with our blog … we can Elevate our sharing. We began with products, then added music, and now we can share stories. Of course, we will highlight Octava products, regimens and ingredients, but we will sprinkle (or as we say in the beauty world …. “infuse”) stories we have picked up on our journey into our blog. We look forward to sharing as we move toward elevated harmony.
